How we reach people

Brainwave’s objective is to have every child in New Zealand raised with care and security. Brainwave aims to reach people with vital information on what is happening inside our baby’s brain in the first critical years, and how this impacts on adulthood.

How we reach people:

• Professionally trained presenters are available to deliver a variety of talks tailored to suit different audiences.
• This website - please investigate it further for detailed information, new research articles and useful links.
• Brochures, DVDs, videos and written material - We have brochures available for distribution. We also have 2 DVDs or videos available for purchase:
• A 12 minute educational video or DVD: “The First Years Last Forever” is available for $25.00 incl GST and postage.
• A 3 hour, edited DVD of Prof. Dan Siegel’s 2002 Auckland seminar - ” Overcoming Interpersonal Violence”, is available for $55.00 incl. GST and postage.
• Lobby policy-makers. Brainwave committee members are in contact with policy-makers to lobby on behalf of children
