Executive Director -  Sue Wright (MBA, BSc., Dip. Tchg).

Sue Wright Sue has worked for both not-for-profit and for-profit organisations in a range of roles from sales and marketing through to leadership and directorship positions. She has two adult children and has an Executive Masters of Business Administration from Auckland University and a BSc from Massey University.  She took over the role of ED for Brainwave in December 2010.    Email: sue@brainwave.org.nz

Presenter Co-ordinator/Key Presenter -  Jane Valentine

Jane Valentine-Burt 1Jane has 11 years experience in the Police with 3 years of front line policing, dealing with emergecies and domestics. She also spent 4 years in an Education/Training role and  also started and ran the Northshore/ Waitakere Mounted Police unit during that time. Her role in the last five years with the police was as a Family Violence Officer which focused on improving child and victim assesment and safety, quality control of Police action and staff training around Family Violence. She was acknowledged for setting National best practice in this emerging field within the police.

Jane became a Brainwave presenter in 2004 to be able to deliver the important information to Police staff and became passionate about spreading the Brainwave message after working with the  devestating results of children exposed to Family violence.  She is now the coordinator and trainer of our professional Brainwave presenters and coordinates presentations for the country.

Administrator/Website Manager -  Sandie Cameron (BEd., Dip. Tchg).

SandieAfter graduating with a Bachelor of Education and Teaching Diploma, Sandie spent four years teaching in Auckland primary and intermediate schools.  She then spent ten years working for IBM New Zealand in marketing, sales support and project management roles.  Her work included the organisation and presentation of marketing campaigns, customer seminars and customer training, as well as new systems implementation.

 Sandie left IBM to start her family and has two boys.   During her motherhood years she has worked voluntarily for the local kindergarten and school, including three years as PTA Treasurer, and work for the Board of Trustees on their ICT plan and implementation.   She was then employed for 18 months as Accounts Administrator for Kohimarama School.  The Brainwave administrator role calls on Sandie’s organizational and technical skills while still allowing her to focus on her family and continue her interest in child development and learning.
