Brainwave Trust relies on obtaining funding to train educators to deliver into areas where we either currently have no educators or the need is too high for the current presenter to meet. We train on an as needs basis. Our kaiako are contracted to deliver Brainwave interactive engaging seminars and workshops to communities and as they develop in their knowledge and skills additional opportunities to deliver to other audiences may open, this includes people in prison, secondary school students and professionals. Our Kaiako need to have a sound cultural understanding of Māori tikanga and/or Pacific culture as well as the ability to learn new information and deliver it in a dynamic engaging manner.  The role best suits someone who works no more than part time in another role. Income is generated from payment for delivery of our programmes.
